Work it out...capri style.

These athletic pants were too long for my petite frame...and a first attempt at shortening them was still not working.



So...I got to cutting and sewing. I cut off a few inches...but kept the important pieces and added a few more.



The lime stripes moved to the back...and I added a gray stripe to the bottom front to match the waistband.

  

...a perfect fit!

It's tricky to keep both the top and the bottom when you shorten something--I like how you accomplished it!
