A codfish became a purse...

The cod fish before the skin is tanned

This project was fun to make. I came over an amount of cod fish leather in different colours.
It is kind of loose, but is ok for purses and may be garnish for clothes.  I`ll try it out later.

However - this purse is made of the fish leather in front and some jeans leftovers in back and decoration  in front.

I had NO idea they made leather from fish scales. I am simultaneously intrigued and a little grossed out. Your new purse came out really cute though, so I'd call it a win!

P.S. Don't forget to only use your username as a label. Our tech editor is working her way through all the posts, sorting everything out, and extra labels can cause confusion.
